Curriculum:
This space is designed using "stations" to allow your child to explore new things including their independence. This program runs from August through June. Attendance is required. does not break for summer months; instead the group shifts to science lessons which include building their own garden of fruits and vegetables in the playground. The PreK classroom uses stations to offer your child a variety of experiences throughout the day. Each station is designed using different curriculum pieces. Curriculum in this program is rewritten each year to ensure that the individual needs of the currently enrolled children in the classroom are being met. We feel that there isn't one curriculum that "covers it all" for our kids and so we like to use pieces from a few.

Our pre-k program offers a rich array of learning experiences across various domains. Upon entering our center, you're greeted by the vibrant display of artwork in our hallways, showcasing the creative endeavors of our young artists. Throughout the year, our preschoolers engage in numerous artistic ventures, culminating in an annual art show for families to see a collection of all their masterpieces.
In addition to art, our program prioritizes hands-on science experiments! Outdoor play is central to our philosophy, with ample playground space allowing children to run around and enjoy the fresh air. We also focus on self care routines such as hand washing, putting on our boots and zipping up our coats. |
New for 2024, we have renovated one of the playground spaces to include a large garden area complete with chickens! Children will have the chance to experience planting and growing a variety of fruits and vegetables, tending to the butterfly garden and observing the chickens in their habitat, fostering a sense of responsibility and connection to nature.
Parent Communication:
Our program uses Tadpoles! This allows us to not only record your child's daily activities such as nap, meals and what they played with but also has an option for us to attach photos and video right to the sheet! At the end of each day, your child's daily report is emailed directly to your inbox. Not only is the information confidential but convenient!
